A service for those with children below school age

Communicant Christians from all traditions are welcome to share Communion with us.

Worship Group

St Mary’s has a Worship Group which meets to discuss matters relating to our services. The Group has recently introduced a Service Card for Baptism Services, which brings together material from the Book of Common Worship in an accessible and easy to use format.

Other special services

St Mary’s holds a Memorial Service at 6.30pm on the first Sunday in November and on the Sunday after Easter (Low Sunday) each year. To have a departed loved one remembered at one of these services, please contact Kevin Barnard (see above).

We encourage those having their children Baptised at St Mary’s to come along to a Sunday Service beforehand and take part in a Thanksgiving Service. This service, as its name implies, is a special service that gives you an opportunity to express thanks to God for the gift of your child, to ask for his blessing and to pray for his help as parents.

We also observe Saints’ Days and Days of Obligation.
